CARING FOR YOUR
FURNITURE
Wood ‘lives’ on in the furniture.
It gently moves with changes of atmosphere
and room temperatures. Understand and enjoy
the tree birthmark within the grain pattern
and natural knot configuration. Follow our
after-care instructions to cherish your
purchase.
· Occasionally treat
the timber with bee’s wax polish.
Buff to refresh the shine.
·
Avoid placing your furniture adjacent to
radiator or direct heat, this promotes cracking,
also avoid direct sunlight, which can also
promote movement and fading.
·
Do not place hot items directly on to the
surface, the use of a place matt is always
recommended.
·
Do not use soap and water or detergents
of any kind on this product for cleaning.
To maintain the characteristic finish on
this furniture, do not use aerosol sprays
or any polish containing silicon.
·
Do not place furniture onto a wet or damp
floor as staining may occur to your floor.
·
For general cleaning use a duster or damp
cloth( almost dry) no wet cloth should be
used.
·
From time to time it may be necessary to
tighten fittings. This is normal and regular
inspections should be carried out.
·
Some movement of the wood is natural and
should be expected.
· Any irregularities
and differentiation of colour are part of
the nature occurrence and should not be
considered as defects. Wood breathes and
moves and is totally natural.
